Temecula, United States National Veterinary Associates Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Butterfield Animal hospital is currently looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join our practice

Butterfield Animal Hospital has served the Temecula community since 2007. Our spacious and beautifully designed hospital offers six exam rooms, two dental suites, an ultrasound room, a vast treatment area and much more. We are proud to be on the cutting edge of medical technology including top of the line medical equipment, dental radiology, two ultrasound machines, digital radiology and in house laboratory equipment. Butterfield Animal Hospital is a progressive, well-established, multi- doctor small animal practice offering full-service care including surgical, dental, radiology, ultrasonography, cold laser treatment, as well as orthopedic surgeries performed by our travelling board-certified orthopedic surgeon.

We have amazing support staff, with many long-term employees. Our team members are passionate about their profession and are dedicated to outstanding patient care. The culture of our hospital is rooted in professional development for not only our veterinarians, but staff as well. We encourage each of our veterinarians to practice their very best medicine and are understanding and supportive of each veterinarian’s unique approach to the medicine they practice. We provide full support to our veterinarians with a 2 to 3 tech to doctor ratio. Because we believe in personal growth and development, many of our technicians are RVTs and certified in veterinary ultrasonography. Outstanding patient care and top-quality customer service is what Butterfield Animal Hospital prides itself in.

In addition, you can expect:

  • Sign-on and retention bonus
  • Work/Life balance, we are closed on Sundays and work a partial day on Saturday with a rotating schedule to ensure you are not working every Saturday
  • Paperless practice
  • High skilled tech to doctor ratio- you can expect 2 to 3 technicians per veterinarian
  • Long-term, loyal, and trusting clientele with a high compliance rate
  • Full Benefits which include 401k with matching
  • Covered licensing, DEA, AVMA, CVMA and VIN

How will this role impact the practice?

  • We believe in quality medicine and invest in our practice accordingly.
  • Butterfield is entrusted with countless patients. When emergencies happen, we are able to tell our clients that their loved ones can come to a place they know well, rather than send them to another facility.

#LI-JO1Company DescriptionNVA was founded in 1996 by Stanley Creighton, DVM, with an emphasis on supporting local medical standards as established by individual hospitals and practitioners. He believed that veterinary medicine is best practiced when veterinarians craft their own hospital and community specific strategies for high quality patient care and client services.

The vision continues at NVA as we make available the tools and resources for hospitals to achieve their medical goals while avoiding any single standardized national plan that might not be the best fit for an individual hospital. The variety of tools and resources we provide include emerging research and care standards, access to our national medical database, human resource guidance, marketing support, recruiting assistance, tax preparation, and training and education for staff. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA provides the support to get them there.
