Stylist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Beauty Services Associate to join our team at Ulta Beauty. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a wide range of beauty services to our guests.

• Guest Services: Provide personalized beauty services to guests, including hair design, color, texture, hair treatments, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings and be able to recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products to guests.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Elite or Master Hair Stylist mentors to learn and develop your skills, and assist with store duties as needed.
• Business Development: Meet and exceed individual sales and productivity goals, and attend mandatory education events and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and techniques.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Cosmetology diploma and license preferred.
• Skills: Basic understanding of the latest salon techniques, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong communication skills.
• Availability: Flexible schedule required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Demands: Frequent mobility during shift, including reaching, twisting, and neck movement; frequent eye/hand coordination for guest services and use of computer; continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs. during shift, with the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Environmental Factors: Ability to stand for long periods of time during shift, climb a ladder, and maintain balance during shift.
