Company Overview
The Tile Shop, Inc. is actively seeking a Production Assembler I for our Distribution Center. This role involves the creation of high-quality display boards for our retail showrooms.

Position Overview
Shift Schedule:
6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport boards or materials from production zones to specified locations.
  • Mix grout types and colors as instructed or according to production specifications.
  • Apply grout to tile joints utilizing appropriate tools.
  • Eliminate excess grout from boards using damp sponges and other implements.
  • Lift, move, sort, and place finished boards in and out of rolling carts.
  • Label boards as directed or according to production guidelines.
  • Operate industrial equipment including sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and rolling carts.
  • Organize and store materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins based on material classification.
  • Utilize warehouse management and RF systems for picking and packing tasks.
  • Ensure boards are secured for shipping to prevent damage.
  • Inspect, operate, and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Lift, move, sort, and place materials onto or off pallets or crates.
  • Ensure all pallets and items are accurately labeled.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Assist in other departments as required.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Certification for forklift, reach truck, and order picker preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs, with the capability to lift over 100 lbs frequently. Must be able to work at varying heights and stand, walk, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
