Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and transportation services in accordance with state EMS regulations and company policies.
  • Assess patients and accurately convey their condition to other medical professionals.
  • Provide accurate written reports describing patient conditions, medical histories, and treatment provided.
  • Document patient information and treatment provided for billing purposes.
  • Maintain the ambulance in a clean and sanitary condition, monitoring fluid levels and gauges.

Requirements

  • NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) or current state license (or pending).
  • Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment interview, including a physical and lifting examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Attend company-provided training and driving courses.
