Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Marysville, Washington

Working Hours: 9:25 AM - 3:45 PM (Monday to Friday)

Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour

Work Environment: We are seeking dedicated speech language pathologists to support elementary school students.

Role Summary: We are in search of enthusiastic speech language pathologists for a full-time role in the Marysville area, ready to provide exceptional support for the upcoming school year. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct services focused on language development and articulation for students with identified speech-language impairments.
  • Conducting screenings and diagnostic evaluations for students referred for assessment.
  • Interpreting the results of screenings and assessments for the IEP or evaluation team.
  • Creating and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for special education students with speech-language goals.
  • Updating parents on student progress as necessary.
  • Collaborating with both general and special education staff regarding students' academic skills and needs.
  • Effectively communicating with parents and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Certification/endorsement in Speech Pathology.
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with elementary school children is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
