As an Intensive Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our ICU team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Our ICU provides advanced therapeutic modalities, including targeted temperature management, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and hemodialysis. Our nurses work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, cultural background, and educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient information, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including spiritual support, emotional comfort, and education on disease management and prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and promote best practices in critical care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or a multistate license through the eNLC program.
  • BLS certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a nurse in a hospital setting, preferably in the ICU or CCU.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, preferred.
  • Advanced certification in your specialty, if applicable.
