Job Summary

The Associate Optometrist is a key leader in our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and driving business results. This role requires a strong commitment to quality patient care, knowledge of current optometric theory and technology, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure executional excellence and winning results through strong partnership with the Store Manager and store team.
  • Deliver key performance indicators and serve as a leading ambassador of the Brand inside and outside the organization.
  • Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
  • Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service.
  • Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.
  • Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care.
  • Maintain State Licensure in good standing and practices to the full scope of that license, responsible for maintaining Continuing Education requirements.
  • Provide effective training and guidance to team members making use of Company provided programs.
  • Deliver clear, motivating and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates.
  • Create a positive culture linked to the corporate culture; identifies what motivates each individual and directs conversations and actions appropriately.
  • Encourage associate decision making at the level closest to the patient.
  • Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation and involvement.
  • Takes pride in the appearance of the office.
  • Maintains safe working environment for all associates/patients.
  • Leads by example.
