About the Role

N. Harris Computer Corporation - USA is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing strategic acquisition opportunities that align with our company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualification and Hunting: Utilize industry-leading tools to thoroughly screen potential company targets and generate thoughtful, customized outreach efforts. Engage with owners of new software companies via telephone for acquisitions, utilizing persistence and creativity to establish connections.
  • Nurturing and Relationship Building: Responsible for creating lasting impressions with owners, utilizing depth of business acumen to carry on engaging conversations over multiple years.
  • Discipline and Organization: Track 100+ personalized outreach activities weekly and maintain meticulous records in our CRM system.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Take a proactive approach to your own development by building exceptional knowledge of vertical market software and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: We win as a team and lose as a team. You are ambitious and work hard to hit your numbers because you know it impacts the achievement of overall team goals.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success as a leader and team manager, with a true 'player-coach' mentality.
  • Ability to lead teams day-to-day and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally to Harris.
  • 10+ years of related business experience in sales, business development, consulting, banking, investing, M&A sourcing, technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up experience.
  • Aptitude and passion for business development and relationship management.
  • Exceptional people skills, leadership, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking abilities who thrives on new challenges and takes initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an MBA.
