Overview of the Industrial Maintenance Specialist Role: The Industrial Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of production and facility machinery in alignment with safety protocols, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency standards to meet the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities of the Industrial Maintenance Specialist:

  • Install and service production machinery and the facility's equipment.
  • Execute emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment during operational hours.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery during scheduled downtimes.
  • Perform basic machinist tasks and responsibilities.
  • Utilize mechanical skills, including but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and service tasks.
  • Identify issues, replace or repair components, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Carry out regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • Employ a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment in the execution of duties.
  • Recognize faulty operations and defective materials, and report these findings.

Qualifications & Experience for the Industrial Maintenance Specialist:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial skills, along with some exposure to PLC and HVAC systems.
  • Experience in CNC programming and PLC programming is a plus.
  • Familiarity with vacuum furnace operations is beneficial.
  • Availability to work a 2nd shift M-TH from 3 PM to 11 PM or weekend shifts from Thursday to Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM.
