Job Overview

Simon Lever is seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide excellent client service, oversee client engagements, and provide tax expertise for our team.

This role focuses on Trusts, Estates, Non-profit Entities, and Taxes in serving our clients and firm. Our team provides strong internal support, the ability to focus on your desired career interests and strengths in a public accounting setting, and the flexibility to meet work and personal life.

We are looking for a candidate with 5-8+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on trust, estates, gift tax, individual and business tax. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a related Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships to drive a deep understanding of their business and related goals
  • Work directly with clients and lead advisors to find creative solutions to complex accounting, tax, and business challenges
  • Align expertise in Tax, Trusts, Estate & Non-profit Entities planning to best support client and firm needs
  • Review and prepare tax, trusts, estates, and 990 returns
  • Support team member development in areas of expertise
  • Lead and plan client engagements to provide dynamic service
  • Effectively delegate and oversee work efforts by setting goals, providing resources, removing obstacles, and scheduling to meet deadlines efficiently
