High School Assistant Principal

Alpha Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High School Assistant Principal to join our team. As a key member of our school leadership team, you will play a vital role in upholding high expectations, fostering social development, and facilitating the intellectual growth of our educators and scholars.
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the school leadership team to promote Alpha's staff culture, mindsets, and values. They will create opportunities for meaningful parent involvement and champion parent engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Support the principal in achieving ambitious school-wide vision, goals, and targets aligned to the Alpha network vision, goals, targets, and strategic priorities.
- Use data-driven cycles with leaders and teachers to analyze academic and culture data, problem solve, and generate next steps and accountability systems.
- Ensure high-rigor, high-engagement instruction in all classrooms through instructional coaching, professional development, and performance management.
- Execute on school-wide behavior management systems, expectations, and incentives across the school site and refine as necessary.
- Plan and lead teacher professional development sessions.
- Formally supervise, observe, and evaluate school staff.
- Support the needs of diverse learners, by ensuring differentiated instruction in classrooms, appropriate tiered interventions, and attending IEP and 504 meetings.
