Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Carolina House Eating Disorder and Mental Health Treatment Center in Durham, NC. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide comprehensive medical services to patients, including conducting physical assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care to patients, including medication management and education.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure.
  • Collaborate with the supervising physician to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health and wellness.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous experience in behavioral health facility/clinic preferred.
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina.
