Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, and wine, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our beverage offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcoholic beverages and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the bar and overall event.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following company procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Previous experience as a bartender in a banquet or event setting preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring wine and beer.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) preferred.
- Must be of legal drinking age and eligible to work in the United States.
