Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist II to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Mountain View Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound and radiologic procedures across multiple modalities, including ultrasound, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear medicine, and angiography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound and radiologic procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and patient care.
  • Function as the primary interface with patients and family members, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their radiology needs are met.
  • Assume responsibility for specified examinations, including introducing ultrasound principles to student technologists.
  • Assess, treat, and provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting patient information.
Requirements
  • Current radiology license through the state of employment.
  • Registration with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or registry eligibility.
  • Graduation from an AMA/CAHEA-approved school of ultrasound technology, with hospital-based training or college affiliation.
  • Registration with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) with two or more of the following modalities: RVT, M, NM, CT, MRI, and Angiography Technology.
  • Three years of experience in all phases of ultrasound and multiple modalities in radiology.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification.
