Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Mountain View Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and vascular diseases
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all individuals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., sonography, radiologic technology, or a related field)
  • Completion of a diagnostic medical sonography program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Certification in cardiac sonography (e.g., RDCS or RCS) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cardiac sonography or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
