Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support our cybersecurity development activities for all applicable systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity engineering and experience with various security tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of cybersecurity solutions for all applicable systems, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Provide technical support for all required cybersecurity technical meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist in the performance of subtasks, including:
    • Extending Cyber Phase I Cybersecurity Subset Suite (CSS) services with the ability to collect log data, enhancing our security posture.
    • Integrating all design and development efforts for Cyber Phase II Enhancements, ensuring a robust and secure system.
    • Integration and tuning of security information and event management (SIEM), intrusion detection system (IDS) and endpoint protection capabilities, protecting our systems from emerging threats.
    • Attending, participating, contributing to and completing assigned Agile Jira program planning increments, features, and tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Providing direct support for establishing and maintaining network accreditation and authorizations as required using DoD Risk Management Framework policies, ensuring compliance.
    • Managing cyber risk with compliance automation, continuous monitoring, and ongoing authorization in accordance with DoD Information System policies, maintaining a secure environment.
    • Baseline STIG scans for operating systems, COTS products, and other systems/services, ensuring security and compliance.
    • Supporting ongoing security accreditation engineering artifact updates, ensuring our systems remain secure.
    • Analyzing, summarizing, and prioritizing ACAS scan, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools, ensuring consistent application.
    • Analyzing and summarizing DISA Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) data, providing insights for improvement.
    • Being the primary POC for the program's defensive suite of tools – Cybersecurity Subsystem or CSS, ensuring seamless execution.
    • Managing CSS accounts, accesses, and tools, maintaining a secure environment.
    • Monitoring CSS tools, identifying potential security threats.
    • Providing Tier 1 troubleshooting for CSS tools (i.e., Splunk, ACAS, ESS), ensuring timely resolution.
    • Performing day-to-day ISSE administration tasks, maintaining a secure environment.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 9 years of professional experience in Cyber Engineering.
  • Working familiarity/functionality with the following:
    • Trelix ESS.
    • ClamAV.
    • Solaris 10.
    • Solaris 11.
    • RHEL 8.
    • Oracle DB.
    • Win10.
