Job Description

ENSCO's Lead from the Front (LFF) Military Transition Program is an approved SkillBridge internship under DoDI 1322.29. The LFF program provides eligible service members the opportunity to gain work experience through industry specific training within the last 180 days of military service. Eligible service members in any branch, regardless of rank, enlisted, or officer are encouraged to apply.

The training and work experience provided may vary depending the internship. The LFF program is an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge program. SkillBridge participants continue to receive payment and benefits through their respective military branch as active-duty service members. Official authorization from the selected service members unit commander to participate in SkillBridge must be provided prior to the start of the internship.

SkillBridge Eligibility:
Has served at least 180 days on active duty
Is within 180 days of separation or retirement
Will receive an honorable discharge
Has taken any service Transition Assistance Program
Received Unit Commander approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge


Duties will include but are not limited to assisting with the following:

• Support the DCO-S program office alongside ENSCO's current supporting team.
• Support software development team in the successful Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development and delivery of two custom built applications.
• Space Force implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Systems engineering and integration of cyber relevant capabilities into Space Force mission systems.
• Administration and compilation of vulnerability assessments and RMF security controls.
• Perform Mission Relevant Terrian - Cyber (MRT-C)
• Cybersecurity related studies and projects

Qualifications Required (Skills)

• BS or equiv; min 5 yrs related experience.
• Participant in DoD Skillbridge program.
• Cybersecurity, IT or networking experience.
• Experience using computers and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with good organization skills.
• Possess good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• An active SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, for which you must be a U.S. Citizen. You will not be considered for this position if you do not meet this requirement.

Qualifications Desired

• Previous Space Force or other DOD Space experience.
• Experience as Agile Scrum Master
• DoD 8570 IAT/ IAM certification. Such as Sec+, CEH
• Engineering background
• Experience planning, executing, and authoring results of MRT-C
• Current U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance
