We are seeking an Operations Assistant Intern to join our team at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Louisville, KY. As an Operations Assistant Intern, you will provide administrative and operational support to the operations team, assisting with various tasks and projects.

Scope of Work:

Assist the operations team with administrative tasks, such as managing reception materials, answering client questions, and directing requests to appropriate staff members.

Support the maintenance of the reception area and lobby, ensuring they are kept neat and professional.

Liaise with office and equipment maintenance providers, as well as other external parties, to support office operations.

Assist in covering the front desk for the Administrative Assistant.

Conduct weekly vehicle inspections according to checklist.

Data entry of inventory counts into Excel and other platforms.

Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols.

Requirements:
  • Able to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Spanish language skills a plus.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship; however, IRC Louisville will provide mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle usage for client services during the internship.
