Michael Baker International is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bridge Intern to support our Structural/Bridge Engineering team in Louisville, KY.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist professionals with completing project plans, drawings, design, and/or analysis
- Support Project Managers and Engineers with various tasks
- Conduct data collection, input, verification, and manipulation
- Perform clerical duties such as documentation for permits and meeting minutes
- Assist with technical related tasks such as preparation of basic studies, design work, and inspections
- Complete simple to moderate calculations such as cost estimates
- Prepare reports summarizing findings
- May write, edit, or create basic documents such as spreadsheets, PowerPoint documents, and communications
- Currently enrolled and in good academic standing, pursuing a bachelor or a master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering at an ABET accredited University or College; minimum of 3 years of coursework completed
- Minimum 3.2 GPA
- College level engineering courses in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus in Structures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office; MicroStation experience is preferred
