Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will:
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties, along with general maintenance tasks at our facilities.
- Execute extensive janitorial responsibilities, including floor maintenance, thorough cleaning of restrooms, and managing large cleaning projects.
- Conduct light maintenance work such as painting, installing window treatments, and basic plumbing tasks.
- Occasionally assist with the collection and delivery of donations.
All tasks should be carried out with a focus on customer service, aligning with our mission and adhering to agency standards.
Qualifications:- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles is essential, with a preference for residential cleaning experience.
- Experience in light maintenance tasks is required.
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols is necessary.
- A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required.
- Strong teamwork skills are essential.
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and communicating in English is required.
- A commitment to serving others is necessary.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and stand regularly is required.
- Successful completion of criminal background checks is required prior to hiring.
- Participation in Domestic Violence Advocate Training post-hire is required.
