Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Aide to join our team at About You Sitting Service LLC. As a Behavioral Aide, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and maintaining cleanliness in living areas.
  • Observe and document behavior patterns, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the medical staff.
  • Engage clients in various educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities, promoting a safe and supportive environment for their growth and development.
  • Execute directives from the Department of Human Resources (DHR), acting as the primary observer, caregiver, and advocate for the clients in your care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of related experience in caregiving or an educational environment, such as hospitals, schools, daycares, special education, or autism care.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification in crisis management and CPR/First Aid within the first 30 days of employment.
  • CDI certification is a must for this role.
