VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and deliver clinical education programs that meet the strategic objectives of our organization, including the implementation of evidence-based practice and performance improvement activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with education staff across the enterprise to develop an annual training calendar and ensure a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and modify existing curriculum and training materials to ensure that staff has current knowledge and competencies to meet program contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Performance Improvement: Analyze and utilize assessment data to plan for program educational sessions, and develop education programs such as workshops and/or group learning activities.
- Staff Development: Train and/or oversee training of new and current staff in VNS Health/program philosophy, policy, standards, procedures, documentation, models for service delivery and efficient, productive, cost-effective work processes.
- Program Evaluation: Review program specific educational program outcomes and program evaluations to determine areas for improvement and make recommendations for change and/or new programs for clinical education as appropriate.
- Communication: Communicate ongoing e-learning opportunities, and evaluate e-learning usage and effectiveness; identify opportunities for distance learning.
- Leadership: Participate in the development of annual clinical education strategic goals and objectives, and utilize resources and practices sound fiscal responsibility; provide input for the development of the department budget.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience required; Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- Experience: Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training required.
- Skills: Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills required; knowledge of health care delivery systems, patient care, care coordination, case management, and clinical processes required.
