Role Overview

As a Medical Science Liaison at LEO Pharma, you will play a critical role in advancing our scientific platform in medical dermatology and informing company strategy through established dialogues with healthcare decision makers and researchers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with critical stakeholders, including academic and community-based KOLs and investigators in dermatology.
  • Provide educational and technical information, including responses to unsolicited drug information inquiries.
  • Present and/or moderate advisory boards, create medical slides for review and approval, and support unsolicited research requests.
  • Identify potential investigators and provide assistance regarding LEO-sponsored research, and engage in competitive intelligence at society meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a territory clinical plan, and foster productive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • PharmD, Ph.D., MD, or DO degree strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of MSL experience, with a background in dermatology or immunology.
  • 1+ years of prior experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or related experience with a medical/scientific focus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel ~70% of the time, and reside within 45 minutes of a major US airport.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
