We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at S.J. Louis in Shiprock, NM. As a key player in our construction projects, you will have the opportunity to operate heavy machinery, problem-solve on the job, and contribute to our culture of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities- Expertly operate a variety of construction machinery, including dozers, loaders, hoes, and more.
- Maintain equipment to ensure smooth operation and collaborate with maintenance crews.
- Assist with labor tasks when not operating machinery and consistently demonstrate safe practices.
- Assess work areas and strive for operational improvements to contribute to our commitment to quality production.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in deep open cut operations.
- Solid understanding of heavy equipment operation and daily maintenance.
- Previously demonstrated skills and abilities regarding hazards and applicable safety rules and precautions for heavy equipment operation.
We offer competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, as well as great benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and Competitive Salary.
