Position Overview
The Pensions Analyst will play a crucial role in managing post-retirement processes, particularly in the unfortunate event of a primary retiree's passing. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating client communication and reporting
- Engaging directly with payees
- Administering cost of living adjustments
- Calculating and recovering overpayments
- Processing underpayments and death benefits
- Managing tax withholding
Qualifications Required
- 1-2 years of experience in pension death benefits
- 3+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
Compensation
The typical pay range for this role is: $40 - $89 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade. Actual salary offers will vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
