Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Disability Case Manager to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our HR Operations department, you will play a critical role in coordinating the administration of Short-term Disability and FMLA plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and thorough reviews of Short-term Disability, FMLA, and ADA claims, making professional determinations.
  • Manage the workflow for a large number of claims, ensuring equitable workload distribution and adherence to department standards.
  • Offer advocacy case management for all appropriate LOA claims.
  • Identify obstacles and opportunities for returning associates to work, working with medical providers, LOA clinics, managers, and Local HR to determine return-to-work expectations and facilitate the process.
Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in health and welfare benefits, disability management, HR operations, and/or benefits administration are required. Preferred skills include experience working through the ADA process end-to-end, Workday experience, and ServiceNow experience.
