Job Summary

SGMC Health is seeking an exceptional Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team in Valdosta, Georgia. As a level 2 program, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead our Trauma Service Line, ensuring seamless coordination with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement best practices and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Qualifications
  • Board eligibility/certification in Orthopedics and Trauma is required.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia is necessary.
  • Demonstrated expertise in EPIC electronic medical records and a passion for quality and service excellence are highly valued.
