p>The largest orthopedic practice in south GA is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery. The physician will lead the orthopedic trauma service line for the group, as well as, be a key player with the local trauma center, related to the development of trauma protocols. Exciting opportunity to establish the trauma service for a new level 2 program.

The current practice has 10 total physicians, 7 full time partners and 3 employed physicians. The group has orthopedic physicians specializing in sports medicine, spine and joints as well as two interventional pain physicians. This opportunity comes with partnership tracks for the practice as well as the ambulatory surgery center, including all ancillary services.

Position Description:

  • Establish trauma service line for a new level 2 program
  • Shared Call with other general orthopedists
  • Guaranteed salary with bonus potential
  • Office coverage for post call
