Physical Demands:

This role involves prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation, standing or walking while handling items weighing up to 10 pounds, and lifting or moving objects that may exceed 50 pounds. It also includes repetitive tasks such as typing and occasional work at heights or in confined spaces. The position entails some risk of injury related to patient handling and exposure to hazardous materials.

Work Schedule:

Availability to work three 12.5-hour shifts weekly (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), including weekends and holidays.

Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated registered respiratory therapists committed to promoting wellness and ensuring patient safety. The Senior Respiratory Care Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through airway management, mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments. The successful candidate will accurately document patient care activities, maintain compliance with hospital policies, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy and patient responses.
  • Engage in effective communication with healthcare colleagues.
Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong patient care experience, proficient computer skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Supervisory Duties:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
