Position Summary

The Radiology Imaging Specialist role presents an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with our proficient Imaging/Radiology team. In this capacity, you will conduct general radiology imaging examinations that necessitate independent judgment, creativity, and initiative. You will work alongside your colleagues to guarantee the most thorough and compassionate imaging care for our patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general radiography imaging studies under the guidance of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures while providing patient care and related non-professional services to ensure the comfort and needs of patients and their families.
  • Identify and communicate patient needs to foster a safe and welcoming patient care environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduation or eligibility for graduation with an Associate's degree from an accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
  • Certification with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required; if registration is pending, it must be completed within six months of hire.
  • MA-P certification is necessary for those performing Phlebotomy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, as well as paid time off. The compensation range for this position is $64.65 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience level, and certifications. If this position is covered by a union contract, compensation will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's experience.
