Early Childhood Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Specialist to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs in ensuring high-quality services in accordance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide training and technical assistance to programs on school readiness, family engagement, and professional development.
- Assist programs in selecting and implementing child assessment, curriculum, and teaching methods that are age, developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate.
- Help programs improve teacher-child interactions and develop data-driven decision-making skills.
- Support programs in implementing a research-based coaching model and family engagement practices.
- Assist programs in strengthening birth-to-five transition practices and improving collaboration with Local Education Agencies (LEAs), state agencies, and other partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in programs for young children, including technical assistance to teachers, home visitors, and management team members.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers, family engagement, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Knowledge of Head Start performance standards and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Experience working within a Head Start program.
