Patient Care Assistant

Forrest General Hospital seeks a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our patients under the supervision of the RN/LPN, ensuring a high level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and record patient vital signs, weights, intake, and output as needed.
- Maintain patient dignity and respect while transferring and positioning patients.
- Notify the nurse of any skin color or integrity concerns, and accurately use and operate assigned equipment.
- Deliver care with respect, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to the We CARE philosophy.
- Complete walking rounds with the oncoming shift and include patients in shift change reports.
- Diploma/GED required.
- Certified Nurse Aid Certificate preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- 6 months of CNA or Nurse Aide/Healthcare experience preferred.
