About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Assistant - HR and Finance to join our team at Forum Financial Management, LP. This role will provide critical support to our HR and Finance departments, ensuring seamless operations and facilitating the firm's continued growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Operations and HRIS: Assist with the implementation of new HR systems, manage the HR inbox, and oversee project management tasks related to HRIS and general HR duties.
  • Recruiting and Onboarding: Support the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screenings, managing job postings, scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters, and inputting new hires into the HRIS system.
  • Benefits Administration: Enroll employees in benefits using vendor systems, prepare materials for annual benefits enrollment updates, and manage employee leave processes.
  • Employee Engagement and Recognition: Assist with planning and coordinating quarterly culture-building activities, managing employee celebrations, gifts, and condolence communications, and maintaining and updating content on the company intranet.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll, updating deductions and salaries as needed, coordinating with payroll processors for tax updates, resolving tax-related issues, and managing the Payroll inbox to address employee concerns.
  • Financial Operations: Reconcile company credit card expenses, manage related reporting processes, enter and process A/P entries in the general ledger, handle payments, and ensure data accuracy in financial systems.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 0-2+ years of Human Resources/Payroll and/or Finance experience, associates and/or bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience on a backoffice team for an RIA or Broker Dealer.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, strong communication skills (written and verbal), and strong organization skills and attention to detail.
