We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Orthopedic Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, prioritizing essential patient needs and available resources.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient responses to care, anticipating and recognizing changes in their status and need for nursing care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Identify patient learning needs and develop educational components for each care plan, providing teaching and counseling to promote patient self-care and adherence to medical regimens.
- Work with patients to develop plans to improve their general health status, implementing physical and psychological preventive measures to promote overall well-being.
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License: Registered Nurse required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
- Ambulatory care nursing experience.
- Primary nursing or case management experience.
- Bachelor of science in Nursing (BSN).
