This role will be responsible for converting mechanical and structural systems designs into reality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with system design and development.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$120,000 per year, based on location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Converting mechanical and structural systems designs into reality
  • Testing and verifying the performance of these systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and structural systems into our spacecraft

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical system design and development
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
