We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Toyota of Cool Springs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of estimating collision damage and the ability to work with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to produce accurate estimates in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and prepare written estimates of repair costs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and technicians regarding the necessary repairs and estimate timeline.
  • Negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding repairing versus replacing parts to save costs.
  • Ensure that all repair work is completed in accordance with factory and insurance specifications.
  • Stay current with repair and estimating techniques and tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and insurance companies.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork to close out repair orders and initiate payment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Repair, or related field preferred. At least 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Knowledge of automotive repair software such as Audatex, CCC One, and/or Reynolds Ignite is preferred.
