Job Summary:The LPN Charge Nurse will supervise, provide, and direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct nursing care to residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on individual resident needs.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the Director of Nursing and other relevant staff members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing assistants.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a vocational school of practical nursing.
- One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet.
