Position Summary


The Culinary Service Aide plays a vital role in the food service operations, which includes monitoring and documenting food temperatures, ensuring a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and distributing food items, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and processing payments for food and beverages through a computerized system.

Adheres to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols to ensure food safety. Provides exceptional customer service and communicates effectively with guests and colleagues. Demonstrates the ability to build strong working relationships.

Maintains high standards of quality control.

May operate various kitchen equipment such as grills, beverage dispensers, toasters, ice cream machines, cash registers, and dishwashers.

Ideally, possesses experience in the food service sector.

Must be able to work independently when required. Understands food safety and sanitation practices. Capable of standing for extended periods and walking considerable distances.

Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is preferred. Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions. Basic math skills are necessary. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the hiring location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
