About the Role

The Manufacturing Infrastructure Support Technician position is a key member of our team dedicated to developing, supporting, and maintaining the manufacturing IT/OT environments across Saint-Gobain North America facilities. This role will be responsible for regional implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure in compliance with standards developed by Saint-Gobain Technology Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage local data rooms remotely and onsite as needed within a region.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and technologies, including Windows, Linux, VMware, VEEAM, and Palo Alto.
  • Track incidents using Service Now ITSM and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Monitor resource usage and follow up on system performance and alerts.
  • Participate in change management and incident management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in IT and/or technical manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of applicable work experience in IT and/or technical manufacturing.
  • Prior experience servicing internal customers in a large complex organization.
  • Certification or equivalent experience in technologies such as VMware, Switching/Routing/Firewall, and ITSM.
