Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Experienced Police Officer to join our team at the Town of Riverdale Park Police Department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, enforcing laws and regulations, and providing excellent service to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Enforce laws and regulations, and maintain order in assigned patrol areas.
  • Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and testify in court as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, and respond to community concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies, and participate in community outreach and education programs.
Requirements
  • Must be a US citizen, 21 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check.
  • Preferred qualifications include certification by the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission, bilingual skills, and an associate's degree.
