Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols while identifying and addressing electrical hazards.
  • Collaborate with Controls Technicians, Project Engineers, and external vendors to design and implement advanced control systems for production machinery.
  • Supervise and mentor Controls Technicians, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Specify and evaluate control systems including DCS, PLC, HMI, and servo systems, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct complex program modifications and troubleshooting to enhance equipment performance.
  • Lead data collection initiatives and assist in the analysis of operational data to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitate training for production and maintenance staff on control systems and safety procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial controls with a strong understanding of electrical principles.
  • Proficient in controls programming software and AutoCAD for schematic design.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize machine performance.
