We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Lead Educator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of infants from 0-3 years old in a mixed-age class.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $39,000-$42,000 annually, plus health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Job Description

As a Lead Educator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing a beautiful and orderly environment that fosters trust, exploration, and deep learning.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence by helping children 'do it all by themselves.'
  • Observing each child closely to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.

You will work closely with parents to provide the best possible care for every child and collaborate respectfully with them to ensure a smooth transition for the children.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any subject.
  • Pursuing or having obtained certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori and/or open to learning more.
  • Earned Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
