About Us

Guidepost Montessori is a network of 120+ Montessori schools that cater to children from 0-12 years old. Our programs include Nido, Toddler, Children's House, and Elementary, with virtual school and homeschooling support also available. Our mission is to provide children with the tools they need to succeed and reach their full potential.

Your Role

As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding a mixed-age class of toddler-aged children in a Montessori environment. Your primary goal will be to create a prepared environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. You will work closely with parents to ensure that each child receives personalized support and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe each child to understand their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that encourages exploration, deep learning, and independence.
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence by helping children develop practical life skills.
  • Provide lessons to encourage language development, social skills, and fine motor skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • An understanding of child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-3 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
