Job Summary

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is seeking a seasoned and innovative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy and leadership. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and planning to ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advises the CEO and Board of Directors on financial matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develops and implements financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversees financial reporting, analysis, and planning, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manages financial risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining adequate insurance coverage.
  • Leads the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a preference for an MBA.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a CFO or Controller, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and grants management.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
