Department Overview

This position is situated within the Georgia Southern University Athletics department, under the guidance of the Associate Athletic Director for Annual Fund. The role focuses on enhancing philanthropic engagement with various stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, staff, and community members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate donor records and databases.
  • Facilitate donor stewardship activities to encourage ongoing contributions.
  • Support the Athletic Foundation team in organizing and executing events and initiatives.
  • Assist in data gathering and strategies for donor recruitment.
  • Ensure consistent application of the Foundation's branding and marketing strategies across all fundraising efforts.


Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Experience Requirements
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Background in higher education or nonprofit sectors.
  • Public speaking proficiency.


Compensation

$21.59 per hour
This position is classified as non-exempt and compensated on a biweekly schedule.
