Job Overview

Uncommon Schools North Star Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Superintendent of Instruction to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving academic excellence and student success across our network of schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of instructional programs and strategies to drive student achievement and growth.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and instructional teams to design and deliver high-quality professional development opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and support to school leaders to ensure effective instructional leadership and student outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support instructional programs and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including school leaders, teachers, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a school principal or instructional leader in a high-performing urban public school.
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in education or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and leading instructional teams to achieve academic excellence.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive instructional improvement.
