Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Kettering Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasounds following ICAVL accredited guidelines. You will work closely with vascular surgeons and other physicians to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasounds following ICAVL accredited guidelines
  • Work closely with vascular surgeons and other physicians to provide exceptional patient care
  • Exercise critical thinking, initiative, and independent judgment
  • Be knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high-quality ultrasound images
  • Participate in continuing education programs to further upgrade skills
Requirements
  • Registered Vascular Technologist certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Minimum six months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab settings
  • Good communication skills, reliability, and participation in after-hours coverage
  • Extensive knowledge of vascular anatomy and terminology, including vascular hemodynamics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International with minimum of six months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab settings
  • Registry Eligible candidates for RVT credential with twelve months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab setting
