We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Kettering Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasounds following ICAVL accredited guidelines. You will work closely with vascular surgeons and other physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasounds following ICAVL accredited guidelines
- Work closely with vascular surgeons and other physicians to provide exceptional patient care
- Exercise critical thinking, initiative, and independent judgment
- Be knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high-quality ultrasound images
- Participate in continuing education programs to further upgrade skills
- Registered Vascular Technologist certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- Minimum six months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab settings
- Good communication skills, reliability, and participation in after-hours coverage
- Extensive knowledge of vascular anatomy and terminology, including vascular hemodynamics
- Registered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International with minimum of six months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab settings
- Registry Eligible candidates for RVT credential with twelve months full-time clinical experience in Vascular Lab setting
