Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Therapy Specialist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. This role involves providing pulmonary therapy to patients of all ages in an efficient, professional, compassionate, and caring manner.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an experienced credentialed Pulmonary/Neurology personnel and be responsible for implementing pulmonary therapy plans, including patient assessment, evaluation, and education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and prioritize workload effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pulmonary therapy to patients of all ages
  • Assess and evaluate patient condition, needs, and age
  • Implement pulmonary therapy plans, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, incentive spirometry, and electro cardiograms
  • Document therapies provided and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
