Job Overview

Optimus Health Care, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Registrar to join our team at our Park City location in Bridgeport, CT.

This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow process, working closely with Providers, Nurses, and Clinical Support staff to verify demographic and insurance information, and monitor provider schedules to ensure timely scheduling of patient visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial intake of patients and update patient information
  • Collect co-pays and assist with scheduling of tests & treatments
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure customer retention by creating a comfortable atmosphere and addressing all questions and concerns
  • Responsible for completing patient demographic, insurance financial information, and ensuring that patients are processed in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
  • Responsible and accountable for verification of insurances to ensure billing of services

Requirements:

  • High School diploma / Associates degree preferred
  • At least five years' experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Bi-lingual skills helpful
  • Great computer skills and familiarity with EMR
  • Commitment to maintenance of patient privacy and flexibility to work at other OHC sites as necessary
