Job Summary
This position will support the Preclinical Therapeutics Core (PTC), which provides comprehensive preclinical services to UCSF investigators. The successful candidate will assist PTC lab managers with planning and organizing lab operations and weekly schedules, as well as help manage studies and communicate with clients.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related science or equivalent experience/training.
- At least 2 years of recent, directly related work experience utilizing techniques or methods required by the position.
- Self-motivated, dedicated and adaptable to change.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work at high standard with a care to detail.
- Able to work well within a team, to multitask and prioritize, and be willing to work flexible hours including occasional weekends/holidays based on rotation.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications.
Estimated Salary Range
$30.89 - $49.68 per hour.
Please note that salary placement within this range is dependent on a number of factors, including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
